Super! I’ll get on to it tomorrow and report back here when I’m done.sadko4u wrote:No, it's nice Idea, you're free to implement PKGBUILD. It would be great if my plugin releases could be accessible 'out-of-the-box' for some Linux distributions.

Re: [ANN] LSP Plugins 1.0.4 have been released
PKGBUILDS can install binary applications, as well – in which case they merely contain scripts to retrieve them from their SourceForge location and package them according to Archlinux standards so they can be installed using the package manager. I thought it would help increase exposure of your plug...

Re: [ANN] LSP Plugins 1.0.4 have been released

Re: Archlinux audio subforum
Is there a package group or something for plugins and/or audio applications in aur? It seems somewhat cumbersome to search for stuff unless you know what it is called. None that I know of. As a matter of fact, Group options for new packages are no longer available in AUR4 (or, at least, I couldn’t ...

Re: [Arch] - Help with PKGBUILD - realtimeconfigquickscan-git
I think it should be almost OK. I was looking at one of your PKGBUILDs Joermungand and I have a question. I see that you didn't use ${pkgname%-*} in the provides and conflicts arrays. Do you have a particular reason for doing that? Nah, no particular reason, guess I was just in a hurry to get the a...

Re: [Arch] - Help with PKGBUILD - realtimeconfigquickscan-git
Yeah, something like that. You will need two different loops, with * replaced by *.pm and *.pl respectively. Then COPY and README should be installed into the corresponding /usr/share/doc directory. Then, if you write the executable files yourself, the "$pkgdir/usr/bin/" line is redundant,...

Re: [Arch] - Help with PKGBUILD - realtimeconfigquickscan-git
Well, here are a few comments: the $pkgname variable should not be employed in order to refer to the application name, either in the provides/conflicts arrays or in the package function (after all, it is the application that should be visible after installation, not the package); I usually employ ${...

Re: RSS-feed broken?
Whoops looks like that got lost in the upgrade to phpBB 3.1 - I'll look into it soon! Thanks a lot! There is now a feed at https://linuxmusicians.com/feed.php . Note that this is the built-in phpBB feed, not the plugin we used earlier. Let me know if there's any regressions. Seems to be just fine. ...
