Re: My free pianos 2.1 release, plus Estonia
Good, I remember old versions using samples. So, no copyright infringment, probably just EULA violation then, if today's EULA still has: "Sound produced by Pianoteq can only be distributed within a musical context, and not in forms that allow the sounds to be used as sample based instruments or...

Re: Patchance (JACK Patchbay) first pre-release
Make sure you have python3-pyalsa installed and have right clicked on the canvas > Canvas Options > General > Provide ALSA MIDI Ports. It should work in latest Patchance and RaySession. python3-pyalsa was not installed !! thanks ! However, going to canvas > Canvas Options > General , there is NO &q...

Re: BespokeSynth: How can I apply sidechain compression?
mcord audiotocv is useful for things like Phase Modulation (try to attach it to an oscillator phase slider, for example) or other similar processes, since it converts an audio signal to modulation (or "cv" if you prefer). The inverse process can be achieved with dcoffset leveltocv is basi...

Re: BespokeSynth: How can I apply sidechain compression?
mcord Bespoke Synth doesn't support yet multichannel plugins, only mono or stereo, so you can't use sidechain inputs. However there are at least 3 different ways to do it that come to my mind: Use pumper effect module https://i.postimg.cc/R0dh8kSR/2023-11-23-23-06-05-215.png Send the sidechain inpu...

It is open source, so there is always a chance somebody will pick it up. Personally, I do not have any immediate plans to continue on it.

Re: Spiro - Semi-modular Synthesizer
Is there a way to make the UI scale bigger or make the colours have bigger contrast? As it is now, it's difficult to see what is what, even if I lean closer to my 1080p monitor. Since the source is public I guess you can figure out yourself or ask the dev. Anyway, trying to answer your quest...

Re: Spiro - Semi-modular Synthesizer
Like almost every JUCE made plugin: cd Builds/LinuxMakefile/; make -j $(nproc) CONFIG=Release I get this error: ../../Source/EnvelopeDisplay.cpp: In member function ‘void EnvelopeDisplay::plot(juce::Graphics&, float)’: ../../Source/EnvelopeDisplay.cpp:150:5: error: ‘sync’ was not declared in th...

Re: Patchance (JACK Patchbay) first pre-release
However there is one crucial thing missing in Pachance. It does not show the midi in addition to Jack connections as Patchage does. This makes it of partial use only as a replacement for Patchage(which usually does not work as noted, but is great if it does) Anyone know if there is maybe a config I...
