Re: New server for downloading Hydrogen kits

You may add this drumkit to the list. I've recorded this drumkit about 2 years ago. Maybe it can be useful. http://download.forzee.org/hydrogen/Forzee%20Stereo%20Drumkit.h2drumkit Better late than never, I've added your drumkit https://musical-artifacts.com/artifacts/385 to the list. Multimedia Sprint at FISL17

FISL17 (http://softwarelivre.org/fisl17?lang=en) is happening from July 13th to 16th and I'll be there with the 'Free Multimedia Sprint', a kind of hackaton to create free/open resources for art and music. The end goal is to create brand new and/or organize existing resources with open licenses and ...

Re: Don't play this if your neighbor has a gun

Interesting piece, and you're right I had never heard of Joio. This made me curious to test the NBO, nice job! BTW if you guys are struggling with hosting space and web design, please consider using https://musical-artifacts.com for these kinds of files. You'll get hosting space, search, tagging and...

Re: Quickly Test SFZ Samples

Would loading a few SFZs in qsampler and assigning each to a midi channel (which can be easily switched via controller) solve your problem? This is easy to setup, but may be tedious if you're dealing with many files.

Re: Music to commit suicide by

Big Zappa fan. Reading the description and the comments I'd really love to hear the song, but the wikisend link is down. You should really consider another way to share the files, https://archive.org 's interface is really pretty right now and you can also preview the files in place, etc...

Re: The Story Of The Tribes

Really nice pieces! The structures and synthesized sounds remind me of the OSTs from games of the SNES and Playstation era and coming from me that's a huge compliment :) I'd suggest you augment your website with and audio tag to play the songs in place https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HT...

Re: Jam Loops - A rock jam app for Android made with open software

Cool app. My android died recently so I can't test it.
FaTony wrote:Maybe put it on F-droid?
Yes. If the app is open source you should consider putting it in F-droid.

Also, would you consider releasing the backing tracks as ogg or flac in the Internet Archive or something like it?

Hello all, I'm planning on dedicating more time to the website very soon and I've made a quick survey to help me focus my efforts based on what the users want. Re: New server for downloading Hydrogen kits

Try it again now, if it still doesnt work try to provide me with more details and I'll try to figure out what's happening.

Either way just browse the website and get the drumkits from there if you can't make it work.

Re: New server for downloading Hydrogen kits

I only use the latest git and it still won't work. Hey funkmuscle, try to be sure you have not pasted the URL in hydrogen with extra trailing spaces. This one is a bug on my part, the extra non visible characters create an url which is not the right one for the drumkits. Looking at the server error...

Re: Hello from New Mexico, US

Hey Stephen,

Saw your post on the linux-audio-users mailing list about the Latin Jazz track and wanted to hear your other stuff, but it seems you've changed your soundcloud account for some reason? The old tracks are gone too, which is a shame.

Anyway, keep on rockin' (or jazzin')
