Re: Crossing the Arch

The way I understood ArchBang is that they try to provide tested combination of packages. They dont recommend updating the system with pacman -Syu. They recommend upgrading only from their releases. I personally use ArchBang just to get the basic programs installed straight away and then I just use...

I mean making it a unit to use all of jconvolver features for reverb? the aella project doesn't look like it will happen... It's been promised for sometime now and no work yet. Nothing like an alpha or beta to test......

Re: Crossing the Arch

on Arch, I've got almost every desktop manager installed and the arch stock kernel and the RT... for recording, I launch the RT kernel and openbox, for casual pc use, I use whatever I feel. That's one of the main things about arch, freebsd, and others like that. you can choose your own desktop manag...

Re: freeverb3

yeah, I read that and it's also built around nreverb.. I wanted to know about freeverb3 because it allows you to use IR files instead of the fixed reverbs that comes with the others. I mean something like this: http://www.knufinke.de/sir/sir2.html freeverb3 suppose to do the same. it does on Windows...
