a little more info. wineasio works in reaper.

carla linux native plugins pass audio just fine. winvst do not pass any audio. its almost like carla cannot access wineasio. let me know if any logs can help

ok it builds now and cala loads winvst 32 and 64 but will not pass sound. carla rack shows input levels coming in just no output to speakers. wineasio is working fine and its patched correctly in patchbay. i will keep digging

ok that did it. and for the 64 bit version substitue 64 for 32 ? if failed for the same reason

Check out the AVB standard. Motu and soon to be supported Rednet adapters use it. Intel is writing a linux driver. One already exists in parts for linux. And yes AVB is fully opensource. Imagine Motu doing something opensource.
