Re: Molam

I think now for the very first time I heard the noise, I had to drive the volume of my headphones all the way up to hear it.

Can you please check the new version? http://www.callistix.net/music/molam_1.3.wav
I exchanged the reverb plugin of the guitar which might have caused the noise.

Re: Molam

I do not see how a limiter would suppress noise. I was thinking about this effect that might affect the song: https://www.musictech.net/2012/09/10mm-no211-inter-sample-peaks/ But if the distortion is still there on the 2nd version (which has -3db headroom), then it's not it. The funny thing with th...

Re: Molam

I did some changes to the song, as pointed out in other forums, the new version is here: http://www.callistix.net/music/molam_1.1.wav I'll upload it to Soundcloud in a few days and when most flaws are fixed. - lowered kick drum volume - slightly lowered hihat volume - kick, hihat and snare volume au...

Re: Molam

I like Renoise, but as there was no single post by the dev (s) in the forum since years That's unfortunately true, and it's unclear if and when they continue to develop it. There's Lua to extend it if you need to. I still find it a great and unique piece of software even though the development is s...

Re: Molam

This is pretty cool and the guitars are killer!! Thank you :) there's some distortion on the left channel at ~0:20 Hmmm, I've listened to around ~0:20s dozens of times now and I can't hear any distortion. Can anyone else confirm this? Did you play the bass and the drums on your own? Not on this tra...

Re: Molam

This is quite good. The shift at around 3:11 towards the blurred voices singing, which I suppose are morlam/molam (of which I do not know anything but did a quick search) is an excellent transition. Thank you :) Glad you like it! "Fog" in the signature below is one of them. I had a listen...

I'm really happy with my pair of M-Audio Bx8: https://www.thomann.de/gb/m_audio_bx8_d ... ImVuIn0%3D

They have a really great bass response, so make sure to have your room correctly sound treated before using them.
