Re: When everything's been said
I REALLY like this piece. This is top-notch ambient soundscaping -- not just layering noises but also providing melodic content and dynamic structure. This piece never gets boring. I love the spare composition and the expert use of unusual percussion timbres. This reminds me of Kit Watkins recording...

Re: Una piccola astronave - Entangled
Sorry to be over a month late on this thread, but I couldn't pass by such a nice guitar tune without saying how much I enjoyed it. I have never heard of those bands, but I like this sound. the dissonant chords in the main riff are fantastic. The double picking towards the end of the piece is really ...

Re: Lars Domino - Gott nytt år / Happy new year (Christmas album 2021)
Wow! What an interesting song. This Lars Domino, he is not a happy man. I didn't know Kajsa had it in her to pull the trigger! This may be the unhappiest new year song I have ever heard. The drums sound particularly good on my speakers, like a live performance. Did you program the drum part? Y...

GMaq : I wish everyone on the internet and in real life would communicate as well and as clearly and as respectfully as you do. Man, this world would be a paradise! I really appreciate your point of view, and I think I pretty much agree with your point. I don't see the separation between temporal a...

Re: Transfer Point - Right On Time
... one other thought. Just rereading your post, it may be that you just don't really like religious music. If that's the case, then I totally sympathize. A desire for forgiveness and needing some way to get rid of guilty feelings is an important part of the human experience. Different faith traditi...

Rainmak3r : Thank you for the nice comments. I am not familiar with Brad Love, but even from the opening bars of that album I can hear what you're talking about. Been listening to it this morning, and he's a talented guy for sure. Tom wrote the music for Mind Cavern, and he said that he had Stevie ...

Re: Best Solutions for Remote Collaboration and Projects
Sorry to be late. I do remote collaboration a lot, and we just pass wav files back and forth on a shared Dropbox folder. We pass about 100 emails back and forth with every song project. Nothing fancy. I use all Linux tools, and he uses a Tascam hardware recorder, so our studio setups are quite diffe...

Re: Nattgammal is
I really enjoyed this track! The guitar jam was cool enough, but then each layer just made the song more interesting. I was surprised by the voices -- I really didn't hear that coming. But surprise can be a good thing, and this was definitely a pleasant surprise.

Sorry again to be late, but this is another one I can't pass by without a listen and a virtual pat on the back to the artist. Well done! This one I downloaded and added to my playlist.

Hey, this is great! I agree that a guitar (or two) would give it a little more variety, but it was a good listen as is.

Not sure if Hallmark movies are a thing where you live, but this would fit right in on the Hallmark channel. Thanks for sharing this.

Re: Redshift L2 [Electronic]
Nice chillin' track. There are some really heavy overtones to that synth patch, almost like a bell. Really an interesting sound.
