OK I understand this issue. If you make the modification with only MIDI tracks, no problem. In my case I have added OUT, INPUT, SImpledrums and Fluidsynth tracks and the result was crashes.

Ctrl-A to select all the remaining tracks.

No Simpledrum in MESS list. I verify the path and presence of the soundfont. It's with OPRE1

You must create a standard midi drum track and link to Jack-midi-n. Then you add the Simpledrum and you can connect the midi track output to Simpledrum. In my case I have to uncheck all the boxes NoteOff ignore.
