How do I control Guitarix LADSPA in Carla?
This is from the Sourceforge wiki, How to use the new ladspa plugins : First you need to start the Guitarix program and make some settings which will be stored in the state file (~/.gx_head/gx_head_rc) Am I supposed to create this folder and file? I don't have either of them. Parameter assignments N...

Re: Making Music Fill Speakers
This is really a producing/recording engineering question but what you are talking about is loudness. I'm pretty much a newb at these things but I'm pretty good with Google and this tutorial is well recommended on the subject http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/mar12/articles/loudness.htm . If nothing e...

Re: NON progress
Any chance of seeing Festige supporting Non (or Carla, when it's ready for WinVST's)?
EDIT: Oops, never mind. Didn't see this

Re: Non Timeline: Looping
You use Shift+Right Button drag to adjust the region length... Ah! That's what I was missing. I did try to drag it out, I just never thought of using the Right Button. Excellent. Thank you. I'll be using the shit out of that. Hey, do you have plans to put a scale on the timeline with the measure nu...

I saw that, but not how to set the number of times the loop will repeat.male wrote:You point the mouse at a region and hit 'l' to set the loop point.

[SOLVED]Non Timeline: Looping
From the manual: Non Timeline supports looping directly. First, adjust the region duration to cover the amount of time you would like it to loop for. Could not figure that one out so I did a bunch of copy and paste; no great hardship really, but it would be nice to just set a loop. Otherwise, I'm p...

Re: Ms 11 - Electronic music (completed in two days)
I like that; it's nice. So often the electronica I hear drones on and on but you throw in a lot of changes and keep it interesting. One small suggestion, I hope you don't mind, I think a longer fade out at the end might sound better; it seems a little quick.

non has its own mailing list. developers are not usually around in forums... EDIT: I guess you're in luck :D Yeah, I posted just to share my experience with other users. I didn't mean to sound like I was being critical. I built it from the development tree so I know there's a good chance there will...

Re: Non Daw from source
I assume you're referring to copy and paste in Non-Sequencer? If so, then yes, the next release will have traditional rubber-band mouse-happy copy and paste, so hopefully you'll get your wish sooner rather than later. Regarding the build instructions.... I'm open to any suggestions as long as they ...

Long time luker; first time poster
How long has linuxmusicians been around? That's how long I've been lurking. That's also how long it's taken me to be able to make music with Linux that I'm happy with. I know other people have been doing it for quite awhile but to find the tools that work for me only just occurred recently. Now I ca...
