Re: Sends from instrument tracks.
You'll need to create an aux send and name it something. then a dial for it will pop up on every synth plugin. Be warned if your plugin has more than 2 outs you will need to create a group as well, like for example strings and then take all the outputs for the plugin strings section and connect them...

Re: Crackling and poping noise on reaper
I don't know your CPU and if you're using onboard or an external soundcard like a Focusrite Scarlett. Onboard stuff it seems can't go below a frame period of 128 using a standard kernel and 64 frames with an RT Kernel. Also, any sample rate above 48000hz gives me issues on Intel Onboard but with my ...

Re: Weird UI Embedding Issue For LinVst Bridged Plugins
It happens with my scarlett plugins and in Ardour linvst renders this plugin(s) correctly though now.

Re: Waves plugins, LinVST and GTK3
I don't use Waves, but all my Garritan licenses are in the cloud as well under my account. I'm surprised that there is no way to register such products on the cloud with Waves unless you're using something ancient.

Re: Waves plugins, LinVST and GTK3
I use Arch Linux sorry it won't work EXACTLY the same. For me it is a sudo pacman -Rsc lib32-gtk3, for you it might be sudo apt-get purge gtk3:i386. Purge means to remove all dependencies and configuration files. Haven't used Debian in more than a year though. Lastly, if everything else is working j...

Re: Waves plugins, LinVST and GTK3
Welcome to gtk3 wine. I dont use it, because of that very reason they should just remove gtk3 themeing support already. Try starting a new wine bottle and delete all 32bit gtk3 dependcies and start again, sadly.

Re: Carla
How about a Carla appimage companion that goes alongside lmms. This is how gmic-qt works with krita as an appimage. That way it is much easier for users to mark both as executable and find the Carla appimage as a plugin in the lmms settings. similar to krita

With the exception of the power governor stuff Ubuntu Studio controls work great on Arch Linux

Re: Weird UI Embedding Issue For LinVst Bridged Plugins
I'm using a 1080p screen for this on Arch Linux. At first, I thought it might have something to do with how qt 5.12 embeds the UI nope, it does it in Ardour as well and every other DAW except Carla. Also, Carla is QT based so it made my head scratch more. It's a small issue but rather irritating. I'...

Weird UI Embedding Issue For LinVst Bridged Plugins
I find this UI bug rather irritating in MusE or any other DAW. The plugin opens partially at first start before you resize it. Just for reference this started back in git in January. partial_plugin.png In Carla however the plugin UI it works as expectped. This might be worth looking into and it does...
