Hello and welcome! In short, for now you have to: 1) Plug your audio interface to your PC 2) Plug your external speakers to your audio interface (as JACK isn't easy to use with multiple audio interfaces, AFAIK). I think than more than the samples itself, I think that there are two things you could use to make 80s drums:
- How to make a gated reverb
- How to use a transient shaper
I don't have good learning resources on those things but I am sure someone has!

Hello from Birmingham. I'm involved at a church with Presonus 16 Channel desk with 1394 firewire. But also fed up with windows 10 (on church machine). So have dabbled with linux since 2012 and so going to try to combine both. :D Hello Ken and welcome, fellow church musician (big word for me :lol:) ...

hooray! a little update, before i clean it up and update github.. i got rid of all #includes of the steinberg sdk files, and made a replacement vst3.h file, 1200 lines (36kb).. so, now the plugin is completely stand-alone.. no need for the steinberg vst3 sdk.. the resulting .so is 14.5kb.. reaper (...
