Re: Run script when stopping Jack within Cadence ?
If you would do that with cadence, you may use a launcher script like this: #!/bin/bash # monitor jackd script just_started="YES" just_stoped="YES" # start jackd launcher, replace with cadence qjackctl & sleep 5 # replace qjackctl with cadence while [ "$(pidof qjackctl)&...

Re: Win the NEW Mixbus v4
Hi Thanks for your response, :) The solution is to make the plugins self-contained. KXStudio for example compiles plugins to be linked statically whenever possible (that way they work on any system, AVLinux also uses them). That is, exactly the reason for this issue: Mixbus sessions wont re-open for...

Re: Win the NEW Mixbus v4
I don't use guitarix, at least not yet, but I have no problem whatsoever in giving away my regular Mixbus v3. Not v4, v3. If that can help in development and if it's legal to do so (I think it is). Forgot to say thanks for your effort, jonetsu, really nice, but as you can see on my post above, it i...

Re: Win the NEW Mixbus v4
Hi x42 I've already received mixbus v4 as a donation from ufug, many thanks man! And, I believe that I found the issue already. Seems to be the old annoying fftw3 issue in Pan create. At least, the issue didn't exists, when guitarix is build with the --convolver-ffmpeg flag to use ffmpeg instead fft...

Re: Run script when stopping Jack within Cadence ?
You can setup a shortcut menu entry or desktop starter comandline like this:
run/pre/script && cadence && run/post/script
give it a meaningful name and done.

Hi ufug Thanks for your kind words and for helping me to get a chance to catch the price. :D Indeed the guitarix project haven't ...

So, it is so,jonetsu wrote:I do not have any use case to pursue the usage of regular Mixbus and Ardour.
However, a lot of guitarix users ask me steady for a place to donate, this here is a place to show the love.

Re: AV Linux 2017.4.9 Released!
Congratulations, Glen, great work! - Aligned with Debian 9 'Stretch' instead of generic 'Testing'. Interesting, so, you are the very first who do a release of the newest debian stable branch, long before debian released it. :) So, I guess, you plan to stay with it for long time? A so called LTS vers...

Oh, on debian/sid, as it is a rolling release, it does.falkTX wrote:The name of that argument is terrible though, it just installs or removes extra packages, it doesn't actually upgrade your entire distro
It does upgrade the entire distro, not the distro-release-version,

Re: Guitarix on a Raspberry Pi 2
Guitarix cache plugin data for performance reason and to allow the reorder of controls. When a plugin change it's behave, those stored values may lead to such issues. It may be that I've change the switch direction in one of the last commits. When I remember right, the direction was wrong before, fo...
