Hi Craig!
The song is a great memory, thanks for sharing! A nice crisp recording with a surprisingly tight band arrangement for a song that was just a whim at the time.. Now the GST/HST is not a good memory because we still have it.. and where did that high Canadian dollar go....?

Hi, Great job!! Wow super cool and super ambitious! I'm in a huge prawwg phase right now so you're hitting me at a good time, Love your voice it's perfectly suited to the material, lots of really tasty guitar work and layering. Also like the synthy organ sounds that bubble up from time to time. I he...

Re: Still waffling over nearfields
Hi lilith!
Yes I mentioned in my first post in this thread, first I bought the iLoud micro monitors for my office/dev computer and I liked them so much I bought the MTM's for the studio.. I haven't gotten around to calibrating them yet though..

Re: Still waffling over nearfields
I just bought a pair of iLoud MTMs: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/iloudmtm/index.php?p=specs Bass down to 40 Hz which is crazy for that speaker size. You can calibrate them to correct for your room (which yet doesn't work with my pair ... I just contacted the support). They can get really l...

Re: Any good professional USB audio devices for Linux?
Hi @sadko4u You are going to have a hard time finding something with 8+ inputs for $500 that is well supported in Linux. This is what I use: https://www.presonus.com/products/StudioLive-AR16-USB There are also 12 and 8 channel models: https://www.presonus.com/products/StudioLive-AR12-USB 18 inputs, ...

Re: LV2 on HYDROGEN
Hi, To be honest there is no good way to use effects on Hydrogen Drum machine... The effects are kind of an afterthought and limited to ancient LADSPA's many of which have nothing to do with drums and many of which are buggy and not very intuitive to use. I agree wholeheartedly that LV2 support is y...

Hi, Another vote for the Mackies... well sorta... I had a set of the CR3's at my dev box desk (not my main studio setup) and they died after about 18 months. Maybe I had bad luck but they certainly are affordable. I then replaced the Mackies with these: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/iloudmm/...

Hi korakios. I just downloaded the ISO and the sha256 matched. Maybe you're having Internet hiccups? Maybe, because today I tried again and it's ok now :) Edit: It seems impossible to boot with UEFI in both hardware and virtualbox :( Hi, I just built a brand new computer and the ISO boots in UEFI f...

Re: EnergyXT 2.7 Linux (32bit) on a 64bit Machine
Hi bhilmers! I have 2 systems here with EnergyXT 3.0 and the Linux 2.7 version both installed and they really don't interact with each other so one shouldn't bother the other, I am also using Wine Staging BTW.. I wouldn't suggest swapping the sessions back and forth between the two and I am still fi...

Re: Dragonfly Reverb 3.0 is released!
Whoo hoo! Congrats and thanks so much for your work on these!! This is really cool stuff!! They are built and on the next AVL ISO... even tested the VST's in ancient old EnergyXT and they work wonderfully! Eyeing up a shirt too... :D Nobody else down at the Thamesford Tim Horton's will be wearing on...

EnergyXT 2.7 Linux (32bit) on a 64bit Machine
Hi, Some recent discussions on KVR's forum got my butt in gear and my curiousity piqued about getting good ole EnergyXT 2.7 Linux (32bit as we're painfully aware) running on a 64bit Linux system and by gum I did it! http://bandshed.net/images/screenshots/EnergyXT-LinWin.png Then some extra goodness ...

Re: Come Walk With Me
Hi,
Just had a listen, good work by everyone! I'd like to hear a bit more whiskers and a little less piana but very minor points, nice to see some collabs going on!
