Re: Killswitch effect
If you're looking for slice tools then give Smasher a try: http://smasher.sourceforge.net/ There's also the Glitch VST, but haven't tried that one yet: http://illformed.org/plugins/glitch/ And there's even a Linux VST that might do what you want: http://argotlunar.info/ Thanks a lot for those links...

Killswitch effect
Hello,
I want to make a killswitch-like effect, I'm sure it must have a name but I don't know. The effect would be like turning on/off the audio of the guitar in a periodic way. How could I accomplish that using software?
Thanks

Really cool song man, very catchy too. I like that bassline and the voice suits the mood perfectly. Maybe some polishing on the edges but it sounds very good. Thanks for sharing the workflow Jeremy!

Question about MIDI CC messages
Hi, I've read a lot about it, but no matter how much I try to understand, i don't know why this is so difficult to undesrtand for me. I have a MIDI keyboard, with controllers, which I mapped to Qtractor. I used the "aseqdump" command to know what number each of the controller has and then ...

Sharing
I'd like to have a place specific to share video (links) or music or just stuff we find on the web. It could be on the "Stuff that doesn't fit anywhere else". It's true that we can start a thread there but I think it'd be better if there's a specific place.
Just that
Thanks

Yeah I know, I didn't assumed you did. Maybe I sounded a bit disrespectful, wasn't my intention.spm_gl wrote:I didn't mean it in a bad way. That's why I gave you two commands to try. Glad you solved it.

Re: What is PPA?
64studio 2.1 is based on Ubuntu 8.04 Yeah, that's why I have this doubt. I'm having big problems with xruns so I was thinking on installing a distro for pro audio as they say, like 64studio, instead of tweaking the whole system. Just for time saving reasons. But I don't think I could live without s...
