Re: The Silent House
Hi! Instrumental track for guitars "The Silent House". Dedicated to the legend of inet-stalkers about the lowest zone of the deep Internet - the Silent House, which is beyond human capabilities. This is the point of no return to the real world, in which time, space and the state of consci...

Re: Dragonfly Hall Reverb
Try creating a new qtractor project. My guess is that you will see the bug again when you open dragonfly reverb for the first time in the new project. Something happens asking working on the project, saving state, and reloading that makes it work again. Opened Qtractor, loaded Dragonfly into the Ma...

Re: help me reduce latency
Hi. I'm on a laptop with i5-4200U, 8GB of ram and the steinberg ur22mkii audio interface. If I set jack to sample rate 48000, frames/period 512 and periods/buffer 2 I have no xruns and I can play whatever I want. But with this settings the latency is unacceptable while playing with software instrum...

Re: Dragonfly Hall Reverb
Ardour? Qtractor. I meant that I had seen this bug while using Ardour, and now I don't. I opened my song with the LV2 plugin three times in Qtractor and the part of the window was always white. Then I started the standalone version. Display was ok. Since then opening the song in Qtractor and openin...

Re: Dragonfly Hall Reverb
Take all the time you need to fix it without changing anything else
Backward compatibility is important since I'll use it for my recent song. I like the reverbs even more than my collections of impulse responses for Klangfalter.

Re: Unwanted distortion in Reaper
Jackd's buffer size can be changed on the fly, see http://marzen.de/Holger/jack_bufsize/lilith wrote:Try setting the buffer size (= frames/period) to 1024 first and check if the sound changes. You have to stop and restart Jack after the change.
But some client programs have to be restarted after a change.

Re: Dragonfly Hall Reverb
WOW! That's a Reverb Plugin of the finest quality. Kudos for the presets! It works great for thickening drums due to the fact that early and late reflections can be levelled separately. I noticed a slight bug: The window with the diagram is sometimes just plain white, although the reverb works perfe...

Re: Dragonfly Hall Reverb
I made a "git pull". I can't build it anymore:
Code: Select all
hm@regen:~/src/dragonfly/2018-12-15$ make
Makefile:7: dpf/Makefile.base.mk: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `dpf/Makefile.base.mk'. Stop.

Re: Scarlett 8i6 in Ubuntu 18
If you don' t need many inputs then use Scarlett Solo, 2i2, 2i4. They don't have a builtin mixer that can make trouble.
No mixer, no cry.

Xubuntu 14.04 and 16.04.
But note that I am talking about the LV2 version, not the VST version. I don't use VST plugins.

Re: x42 auto tune
The LV2 version loads fine in my Qtractor and Ardour6. Where'd you get Ardour 6? It’s the version that's in development and it may or may not work. I guess the LV2 version of fat works in Ardour 5, too. git clone git://github.com/Ardour/ardour.git cd ardour ./waf configure ./waf sudo ./waf install
