Re: FatFrog -- High Gain Amplifier Lv2 plugin
I'm getting some great sounds out of this. But is there a gate involved? It seems I need to play a ghost note or make some fret noise or something to get it to 'open up' before playing a part, or it starts out of time (if that makes sense).
Thanks
Thanks

Re: a plugin version of Kawai K1 now has linux version
Heh, as a proud D10 owner back in the day I looked down on the K1 a bitI tend to think of the K-series as a less well-implemented Roland D-series
I really like this plugin though, to me the sounds fit warmly in a mix.

Re: Debugging Xruns
Where things get more problematic is that every once in a while I'll encounter a huge burst of xruns. I may have found a solution to this, at least in my case. Adding usbcore.autosuspend=-1 to the kernel parameters at boot seems to have fixed the problem. My xruns are now the usual culprits of wifi...

Automate Aux Sends
Hi, is it possible to automate the mixer aux send level from each track? I've tried to do it in the same way as volume and pan but didn't get anywhere, and I can't think of any other approaches...
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Debugging Xruns
Hmm, I've just tried the c states and CPU temperature was a sustained 75C under virtually no load, compared to the usual mid 40s... That doesn't seem healthy to me so I've backed off for now

Re: Debugging Xruns
I also have huge bursts of xruns for no apparent reason. It often happens when my laptop is mostly idle, with the xrun count hitting 50k or more over a few minutes while I'm not paying attention. I've not found any cause, but since restarting jack usually fixes things straight away, I'm wondering if...

Nope, no root build. A check of bash history shows only sudo for ./waf install and uninstall.
