Re: Collaborative sound collage
This link does not respond for me... eventually times out with a "504 Gateway Time-out" or produces a 404. This should work now: https://z.hex3.cf/1FiHm91tcDdjkiGkHZH2xoMc7Qmzrh8sv3/other/vorbis/collage-a-2.ogg / https://0net.eu.org/raw/1FiHm91tcDdjkiGkHZH2xoMc7Qmzrh8sv3/other/vorbis/coll...

This link does not respond for me... eventually times out with a "504 Gateway Time-out" or produces a 404. Ah, sorry, there's something wrong with proxies and this file (other proxies seem to work just fine). I'll see if i can fix that and if it's impossible i'll upload somewhere else I t...

Re: Why "notes", duples?
Did you see my suggestion above of using multiple DAW (or sequencer) instances and syncing them together with Jack Transport synchronization? I'm curious how you'd apply this concept without ending up with a mess musically speaking though ;). I've read it now. That would probably work nicely with N...

Re: Why "notes", duples?
Does anybody make a DAW where one can independently vary the tempo and time signature of each track discretely? I would really like to have a DAW like that. Emulating that by time-scaling notes manually is possible (e.g. in ardour), but it would take a lot of manual effort and would be very inconve...

Re: P2P web: ZeroNet
do you need a Bitcoin wallet to be able to use it? No, but you'll get bitcoin-compatible addresses - they (or rather public/private key pair, i guess) are used as user and site ids. Though i wouldn't recommend using those to store coins - that might be insecure. Also, Tor was mentioned a lot but I ...

P2P web: ZeroNet
As some of you may already know from my other posts, i'm using ZeroNet ( official site wikipedia page ) - decentralized (peer to peer) libre software web platform - for my music hosting. That said, i often give links to proxies so that people don't need to download extra software just to listen to m...

Re: One and the same, one and the same...
It feels like backing track / impro are a little disconnected at times, but i like the main theme and the track overall is very enjoyable

Re: Collaborative sound collage
Now that i have recordings from two contributors, i started to work on collaging them together. Here's a preview
Initially i didn't want to use my own recordings, but if i don't get more people involved, i probably will have to resort to that..

Unfunny jokes' king
I've decided to start publishing tracks individually rather than waiting for the album to compile them into. The first piece i've completed since is "unfunny jokes' king" ( 0net / proxy ), a rare for me vocal song. I'm not 100% sure this would be the final version, but i started to get bor...

misconcept - another noise / fields recording album
With a little delay (i intended to release an album per month and this was for june) i've released another noise album. I'm not as happy with it as i hoped, but it works as far as i'm concerned. As usual, it's released on ZeroNet (http://127.0.0.1:43110/1FiHm91tcDdjkiGkHZH2xoMc7Qmzrh8sv3/misconcept/...

Re: Collaborative sound collage
Oooh, I like this idea, count me in. Great, you're counted ;) I'm thinking of contributing some original outdoor "field recordings", and maybe some improv on acoustic instruments. Should we agree on a key to play in, it just submit anything whatsoever? I think anything goes for starters. ...
