Re: ToneLib GFX ?

Look at the image, they have a online preset store, were you could download presets. Same as with guitarix, they seem to use curl for that.

The only remark is, that libcurl4-openssl-dev should only be a build dependency, at runtime it should be enough to have libcurl4 installed.

dkbuilder: simulate a Poweramp

As follow-up to this thread: https://linuxmusicians.com/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=19586 I'll show how I simulate a Poweramp within the dkbuilder. I give the Hoffman Plexi a whirl, taken from her: https://el34world.com/Hoffman/files/Hoffman_Plexi_6V6-V2.pdf I start with the poweramp part and create th...

Re: OverTone DSP V3 Vintage EQ Plug-ins - March 2019 update

There have been some commercial posts in the past, including commercial software, here or in the subforums (daw, plugins, ...). So either mods change the rules, either you keep calm and quiet. There is no need to change the rules, just check the report button for any post here, and check the first ...

Re: OverTone DSP V3 Vintage EQ Plug-ins - March 2019 update

if your policy is now open source only, that's entirely up to you No, it isn't. Don't get me wrong please. There is nothing stops you or anyone else discussion stuff about commercial plugs or host's. But, to be honest, we've the Marketplace here were post's which are "just advertisements"...

Re: OverTone DSP V3 Vintage EQ Plug-ins - March 2019 update

It's a free update for existing users - I'm just letting people know it's available I'm pretty sure existing users get this information already as mail, so the free update argument isn't valid. I understand fully that as a linux audio developer you need some places to announce your work in order to...

Re: OverTone DSP V3 Vintage EQ Plug-ins - March 2019 update

The same 'commerce' that provided nice things like support for Linux VST plug-ins in one of the most popular Linux host applications (at my own expense) so everyone could enjoy more (free and commercial) plug-ins for Linux that actually work... you're welcome. By the way, I'm a MIxbus user myself, ...

Re: OverTone DSP V3 Vintage EQ Plug-ins - March 2019 update

Okay, now that I've learned from the generous @glowrak guy here: https://linuxmusicians.com/viewtopic.php?f=59&p=104454#p104454 I wouldn't suggest any longer to move this post to the Marketplace, but instead, rename this part of the forum to "What ever you feel matters to you and you could ...

Re: Suggestion for tools to use programming GUI + MIDI?

Development in python is nice for quick prototyping, or to write some development tools. But, for release a application it's a bad choice in my opinion as well. The ongoing development in python modules gives a shit on backward compatibility. Python development is really, really fast, so that only v...

new GxEternity.lv2

This low compression overdrive pedal is perfect for any style of music that requires natural sounding overdrive that doesn't colour your tone. The Eternity also acts as a treble booster with the unique Glass control. The Glass control doesn't act like a normal tone knob. It actually boosts high end ...
