Re: dkbuilder: from circuit to LV2 plugin

Work is going on, latest state is, allow to build plain faust code (no foreign function needed) from non-linear circuits. This will allow to use the generated faust code in the online compiler to generate a binary of your choice, or, use it with mephisto.lv2, to use it directly within your LV2 host ...

Re: [LAA] Guitarix2 release version 0.40.0

Oohhh maaann, thank you so much brummer! Updating the JCM800PowA made all the difference to my tone. The new api is awesome along with all the improvements made to the DK simulation. I'm glad to hear that. I'll soon give my contribution to the project with some soundclips And maybe a video on YouTu...

I think it can be something related to the python version. I've runned this and worked:
well, python could be a bastard.

I'm using

Code: Select all

Python 3.8.3
and/or

Code: Select all

Python 2.7.18
were both versions work.

@Rodney You've a PM.

Re: [LAA] Guitarix2 release version 0.40.0

I just tested it and I think there's something wrong with the values on the lv2 plugins, you can see that especially on the JCM800pre's Pregain knob, it increases values on a 0.2 step. Skipping for example from value 0.80 to 0.82, not allowing me to choose 0.81 or other values in between for exampl...

Re: JACK Transport Control as MIDI Note event

@tramp, I tried your code and even though it works, it does not look like your code is sending a "note off" message. My current behavior is as follows: Oh, my mistake, I understand you wrong. I've assumed that you would have a NotOn event on transport start and a NoteOff event and transport stop. I...

FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/home/lucio/Build/guitarix/trunk/tools/dsp2cc': '/home/lucio/Build/guitarix/trunk/tools/dsp2cc'
That is really wired.
I've no idea how that could be.
However, to avoid that you could use the

Code: Select all

 --no-faust
configure option.

How do I make JACK Transport play a simple MIDI note when playing and stopping?
You need to write a wrapper for this.
I do that in guitarix by monitor the transport state and send Midi CC's to the engine when the state change.

Re: [LAA] Guitarix2 release version 0.40.0

luciorgomes Ups, sorry, I've forgotten to update the debian/rules debian/control files to reflect the changes. So the debian folder is more or less useless. Please build with the plain waf commands ./waf configure --prefix=/usr ./waf build sudo ./waf install check for more optimizations with ./waf ...

Re: Guitarix MIDI Output -> MIDI Foot Controller

I'm testing this version now and so far so good, thanks That's good to hear. Ah I see, that makes sense - 60 ms seems fair even with two controllers. We maintain the last midi control values in a list, and check (now) this list every 60ms if a value have changed. If so we send it to the UI. So rega...

I've looked at the messages from jack and nothing peculiar happens (DSP load, or xruns, etc) It happens beca...
