Re: "Constant Rolling Studio" Debian Sid Based Distro Is Out
I'm using debian/sid now longer then 12 years, in all the time I've just make one new install of my main system, because of a hard-disc failure. So, well, debian/sid is a really nice way to sail on the blending age with a up-to-date system. However, I miss the good old times, were people tend to pro...

Re: No Distortion/Drive in Rackarac/Ardour
Do you know where I can get the icon from for Rakarrack? The little "Icon" usually is the application.desktop file. You find it in /rakarrack-0.6.1/data Wonder why it isn't installed. However, Copping the file rakarrack.desktop to your desktop will bring the little icon on your desktop. I...

Re: pitch shifters
Infact i think i even managed to use guitarix with a pitch shifter plugin and an eq live without latency issues. When you add a wet/dry control to the pitch shifter (you can do that for LADSPA plugs with Show Details -> use dry/wet box) and mix the clean and processed signal, you will notice the la...

Re: Hexter and Whysynth - can not save patches
Hi
You need to load the Patch Bank were you have saved your changes. In whysynth it is
File -> Open Patch Bank
in your home directory /.whysynth/WhySynth_patches-_dssi_whysynth_WhySynth_chan00

Re: No Distortion/Drive in Rackarac/Ardour
I read that Rackarrack uses ZynSubAddfx for the distortion The Rackarrack project was started once to make the ZynSubAddfx fx section available for other instruments, therefor they extract the fx from ZynSubAdd and included it in the Rackarrack program code. Now, both programs be independent from e...

Re: Delay when sending midi to a jack device from host
The problem is, when you connect ardour with jack to output midi data, ardour receive the audio data from hydrogen in the next jack calback. That introduce the one buffer delay. Every client get just one calback per buffer and in this setup ardour was already called. Midi and audio data flow in the ...

Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
If you update guitarix, you better take it from git instead the latest release.
Git contains already some important bugfixes and impruvments, and some nice new plugs.
Curent git state is absolute stable.
