Well I would personally love it if the developer of the lepou plugins compiled some linuxvsts. Ive tried reaching out but no response yet.

So then, when I send emails to closed source developers, I can suggest JUCE as a no-fuss solution for them to being able to offer their plugins on Linux?

I did. Sadly I still have the same problem.
I do believe this is why I tried updating to begin with.
However along the way I have updated various other packages.
I'm not sure how useful bug reporting would be at this point with all of the variables on my system changed.

I tried running from a terminal and seeing if there was any output but there was nothing except for Segmentation Fault. ...
