Re: What Would Cause Audio to Sound Different in a New Distro Version?

Weird.

You can check the differences in the /proc/asound while playing the same sound.
It might a subjective sense, perhaps recording of the output (analogue) would show if there are really different audio.

Re: Do you have a plan B???

The agreement was only that NATO forces wouldn't be in East Germany.

There is not such agreement. There were some "promises".

If it's from master branch then it may require Qt6.

Absolutely giving up for now.
Thanks for your help anyway. I'm certain I learned something. :)

Re: Getting a big deep kick drum sound

Thanks @Kott . Put that one in the too-hard basket. Not up to building, and I tried converting the binary https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/multimedia:/proaudio/15.4/x86_64/DrumFixer-git.master.20200831-lp154.1.1.x86_64.rpm to .deb with alien but no luck. The .deb installed DrumFixer to /u...

Re: Getting a big deep kick drum sound

Not sure if it fits your kick, but worth to look: https://github.com/jatinchowdhury18/DrumFixer I'm curious to try this but not sure how. It seems to only have Win and Mac builds (but may be usable with Yabridge or LinVST?), and the vst3 version doesn't have the standard vst3 directory tree as all ...

Re: Biotek and F'.Em $24 in jrrshop

Downside, I have got 2x total computer freeze with it, nothing works, need to turn off power. So maybe would be much more usable as windows vst with wine :-D I've got crashes with both when plugin's render is set to OpenGL. With software render, these plugins works fine. Also OpenGL gives almost no...

Why you think so?
It's a VST2.4/VST3 plugin. Works in any VST capable host.
