OK, finally got it to work, when using hw:1. However, I hear buzzing sound from my speakers. Any idea how to get rid of it?

Playing a guitar using M-Audio
Hi,
I have an M-Audio mobile pre usb (image), and I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.
What should I do to connect an electonic quitar to play? I used Rakarrack & QjackCtl a long time ago (I had an annoying delay), but now nothing happens, there's no output.
Any suggestions?
