Re: Run script when stopping Jack within Cadence ?

Thanks @Tramp !Your script became the base for making a Template #!/bin/bash # Do some extra things if needed before Starting Cadence # PreUpCadence Scripts ,here: # We can also run scripts depending on JackServer status # but we want only once! Re: Run script when stopping Jack within Cadence ?

The only way for wpa to stop is actually stopping the process. It totally ignores whatever command I give on wpa_cli ap_scan 0 scan_interval 0 suspend The run/pre/script && cadence && run/post/script method is not good since I want to interact when jack starts or stops with Cadence and not when exit...

Re: Run script when stopping Jack within Cadence ?

You can setup a shortcut menu entry or desktop starter comandline like this: run/pre/script && cadence && run/post/script give it a meaningful name and done. Thanks I'll try it :) Maybe you can try adding/changing this line in your wpa_supplicant.conf file: ap_scan=0 I am afraid ,the network manage...

Re: Run script when stopping Jack within Cadence ?

Well, I definitely need running some scripts when starting / closing Cadence. The major issue is wpa_supplicant process , scanning for networks every ~2 minutes. I get ~20 xruns at once ,every 2 minutes! I manually pause the process and after jamming I continue (it keeps wifi connection on) Any sugg...

Ableton Link

Hi, Had anyone success with Link and Hydrogen? The tempo changes are precisely recognized but there is annoying offset after some beats. Steady offset ,seems impossible to start in sync. (tried with an ipad ) So, is Link experimental ? Do apps have to implement Link instead of Jack->Link ? Any info ...

Re: Run script when stopping Jack within Cadence ?

Ok, but I want to use Cadence if possible . Unless qjackctl starts automatically when Cadence starts and you propose a nice workaround.

In extreme low buffer settings it beats low latency and liquorix kernels ( at least on my hardware )

Re: Debian Jessie KXStudio repositories .low-latency-kernel?

Tried to make fglrx (amd radeon restricted drivers) to work with avlinux new distro, but I thought the av custom kernel was my only problem . (btw the avlinux kernel rocks for rt-audio!) Back to the topic: The liquorix repos where down so used the mirrors provided on https://liquorix.net/ The trick ...

Re: Debian Jessie KXStudio repositories .low-latency-kernel?

Thanks falkTX for clarifying this :)
I think it should be noted on kxstudio repository page for newbs like me!
I'll try the KXdistro ,since kubuntu 15.10 didn't work so well, a bit laggy on everything even on powerful machine.

(Solved) Debian Jessie KXStudio repositories .low-latency-kernel?

Hi,
Maybe it's only for Ubuntu ,but I can't find any low-latency kernel on Debian Jessie after enabling KXStudio repositories.
Googling around didn't help. So KXRepos do not provide any kernel ?Only for (the wonderful up-to-date) audio programs?
