Re: synthv1 build error

Thanks,

Seems to work and is better than the workaround that I suggested.

Re: synthv1 build error

Hi, I was having the same (or similar) compiling problems trying to compile synthv1, samplv1, and drumkv1 on my Linux Fedora system. Same problem still existed on version 0.8.1, 0.8.2, and 0.8.3 I don't know exactly where the error is, but I managed to compile succesfully this strange way: (After un...

Re: Carla/dssi-vst fail to start VSTs

Are we talking about this bug? :

I'm using Planet CCRMA / Fedora. Pretty good combination. Gradually packages from CCRMA are moving to the standard Fedora repositories.

I don't see many CCRMA people here yet. I'll recommend this forum in the planet-ccrma mailing list !

Re: Lilypond front ends: Denemo, NoteEdit, Carous and Rosega

[quote="briwood"]I've done whole charts by writing Lilypond code with Emacs. I'm hoping to find a faster way. While working directly with a text editor you gradually develop your own personal tricks to make this hardwork faster and easier. Then later when you try different GUI frontend sol...

Lilypond is the best music engraver for Linux, but very few people can work with the input syntax without using a GUI frontend like Rosegarden, Noteedit, Denemo, or Canorus. But GUI frontends usually don't support 100% of all the features that a text-based program like Lilypond has. There are altern...
