Re: Aurdour 3.5 midi control

I have used pianoteq menu options/midi section to see if midi commands are send.
Use edit/preferences/control surfaces to turn on your generic midi controler
Here is a manual http://www.manual.ardour.org/using-control-surfaces/

Re: Sonatina versus No Budget Orchestra

The Nutcracker on budget - sounds very realistic, the beginning almost as I remembered it:D Both versions sound almost like two distinctive mixes, are you sure that you haven't doctorized midi files? And here is youtube version of Jupiter, high pitched sound in the background, is it conductors kettl...

Re: hda_intel headphone phenomena

Sounds like an automated limiter is on the chipset. Windoze driver should allow to disable this. If dual booting, try to disable that, and see if it sticks when booting back into linux. It's an ear-protection safety feature protecting against dodgy audio files. Loony nanny staters invading our comp...

What I hear is like mosquito farts or cosmic radiation, I'm not even sure if it's track or my gear.

Re: Reliable USB Interface for guitar recording in Ubuntu St

I have a Behringer UCG102 guitar link cable.
It seems that you use wrong search engine, try search "ucg102 linux" on google or duckduckgo
there is a link to thread on ubuntu forum
