Re: Jack Output over Bluetooth?

I found another tool, zita-j2a. But unfortunately this tool doesn't work with my bluetooth device: hm@wolke:~$ zita-j2a -v -p 128 -c 2 -d btphilips Alsa_pcmi: detected more than 1024 playback channnels, reset to 2. Alsa_pcmi: can't set playback period size to 128. Can't open ALSA playback device 'bt...

Re: Jack xrun every 1.5-2 seconds. What am I missing?

Hi I posted a similar problem a few weeks ago: http://linuxmusicians.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=11896 but noone replied. However the problem you describe is very similar to mine, so I looked into the suggestions here, and following the different clues, I came to the conclusion that my xruns issue...

Re: Jack Output over Bluetooth?

Is bluetooth even fast enough for this? I am afraid, no. I was halfway there. 1.) Bought Philips bluetooth adapter and connected it to my HiFi amp 2.) Paired the device using Blueman applet in xfce4 3.) Used the following .asoundrc pcm.btphilips { type plug slave { pcm { type bluetooth device "...

Re: Qtractor: best practice with synth-plugins and instrumen

Bluebell, I wanted to point out that the graphics you attempted to place in your message (x.png) are not rendered, probably because you don't have a host to place the files on (a server somewhere). I would like to see the visuals you are trying to present, as it would likely better facilitate the c...

Re: A better jazz bass

Hopefully, this fixes it: http://wikisend.com/download/277968/jazzbass.zip Yes, thank you. The sfz or the wavs can be improved furter. Some notes are late. For example the note in G1.wav doesn't begin at the beginning and I don't see any offset in the sfz-file. It's at least 17 msecs late. That can...

Re: A better jazz bass

Some of them are in a different format and sound like mixed with white noise with my linuxsampler. So they are unusable. Most are RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, Microsoft PCM, 16 bit, stereo 44100 Hz They work well. Some are RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, stereo 44100 Hz. They don't....

Jack Output over Bluetooth?

Hi all, I got a new notebook yesterday from linux-onlineshop.de: 16 GB RAM, 500 GB SSD, digital audio (via HDMI, not yet tried), Core i5 CPU and ... Bluetooth. I installed it today and I wonder if I could route Jack's output via Bluetooth to my Bluetooth adapter that's connected to my HiFi-amplifier...

Cool. A professional garage instead of a bedroom :D

Reminds me a bit of Jana Hunter.

Sounds if there were some clipping in the vocals sometimes.

Still working on this, but initial tests are very promissing. See http://i.imgur.com/QPiGoQV.jpg and http://i.imgur.com/z9XmZ2F.jpg and http://i.imgur.com/D3KS1rj.png  Can you spot it? :D Wow! That will make Hexter and Whysynth (both DSSI) work in Ardour3! And it will probably make it possible...
