Re: Insert measure(Doesn't shift Markers Right)

Sorry for the very late reply here.
Yes, markers are not shifted in that case.
But they are if you select say, 'Global cut' for example.

I am in a branch right now fixing markers.
Thanks for pointing this out, I'll try to take care of it.

Re: Saving in the DSSI protocol

OK good to hear it works. I know it doesn't exactly aspire to the symphonic level of OOM, but here we are  Psst : In another branch, I am fixing up that stupid "Clip List Editor" that has remained brain dead for many years. It is becoming... an actual Clip List! You know, Drag n' Dro...

Re: Saving in the DSSI protocol

The preset is there in my custom muse-preset directory, but it won't load. Is this a limitation in the DSSI protocol, or something to do with Muse not saving DSSI presets? G'day sorry for slightly late reply, lots going on... The generic ui preset saving/loading feature only saves the control that ...

Re: muse for windows

I'm pretty much done with any mods to the pull request. What matters to me at the moment is that it works fine under Linux as usual. The rest I will leave to you, as it does not seem to harm it. It should be safe to start your work again. In other words at the moment I'm back to comfortably working ...

Re: muse for windows

Oh man! Looks like I somehow merged the thing into our master! No wonder your pull request disappeared  Oh well. It's in master now, eh? Bwha ha ha... Let's move forward and fix anything I may have broke before you had a chance to test it on Windows. Sorry if all these changes today cause muc...

Re: muse for windows

And hopefully just one further note: In a few spots it appeared perhaps you didn't realize that to make use of our cmake flags within the code (such as the ALSA_SUPPORT define) be sure to include this header: #include "config.h" This header brings in all the variables that are transferred ...

Re: muse for windows

Also today I thought about whether we should be hard-coding #ifdef _WIN32 and _WIN64, or whether it would be better to let cmake tell you what OS it is and define a flag like say HAVE_WIN32 or HAVE_WIN64 and all the code will refer to THAT flag instead of directly embedding those other flags in the ...

Re: muse for windows

OK. I think I've done all that I wanted to change regarding ALSA code and exp10() and M_PI stuff. Again the results are here: https://github.com/terminator356/muse If you could find some time to try it on Windows before I ponder merging into our master, thanks. You could just clone, build, and run, ...

Re: muse for windows

Hi just a heads up as I rework some of the pull request: It took me several hours to realize that I should have forked your branch instead of cloning and modifying it. It kept wanting to push to your repo! Ha ha. So you can now watch what I'm doing or even pull the changes I've made at: https://gith...

Re: muse for windows

Quick note: Fixed wavecanvas.cpp as noted in the issue report. Please see my comments there for a wee bit of extra info. No more fork() in MusE :) But maybe still a few unused linux-specific headers lying around in other modules that were maybe never removed. Lemme know if you spot any. We'll get ri...

Hello. Sorry about that.
QRegion stl features are too new, introduced at Qt 5.8

Fixed in git master now.
Try again.

Thanks.

Re: Muse not running after Ubuntu Studio 18.04.1 upgrade

Yup that's the official release version, a year old. The git master version rocks much better. I hope you'll enjoy it. Hopefully a new release will be out soon. We don't use any Gtk code in MusE, except for some LV2 Plugin UI support. What you are probably seeing is hopefully just a theme selection ...

Re: Muse not running after Ubuntu Studio 18.04.1 upgrade

Hello. If I understand correctly you have the release 3.0.2. What you are experiencing is bad plugins crashing MusE during plugin scanning. Please try the git master version of MusE. https://github.com/muse-sequencer/muse As shown on that page, it is typically pulled from a command line while in som...

Re: Python scripts not working

Hi, I get this similar message but a slightly different missing module: RandomizeVelocityRelative", line 31, in <module> from PyQt4 import QtGui, QtCore ImportError: cannot import name 'QtGui' I am certain it is just a matter of installing the right modules. I cannot check right now as I have o...

Re: Distrho Plugins crash in Muse

OK Thanks. I will try to look into those plugins later.

(I had a suspicion about that Gnome terminal, there's currently a discussion
on LAU mailing list about that very topic.)
