i don't think it's a matter of not supporting firewire audio.

Firewire_ohci is a linux kernel module, ffado is a library and jack is in every linux distribution.

It's just a matter of knowing how to start it all correctly (i.e. managing to start jackd with realtime priority)

Come on guys, don't spread disinfromation!! Audiofire12 works perfectly. I use it daily in a 8in/8out realtime convolution. Jack/ffado recognize it flawlessly and mixer works too.
