Julien's a long time member of the community, and he does something as special as composing big complex songs using only text-based applications, as he's blind. Very inspiring! The interview series...

Re: The Friday Interview

Thanks for all the encouraging messages, really appreciated! This week we talk to a well known face around here; GMaq, or Glen MacArthur, the creator and maintainer of AVLinux. He's also a great musician, and he's probably one of the few Linux distro maintainers also running a farm ;). Check it out ...

Re: Critiques please (Video)

Agreed, great tutorial! You should definitively do more of these if you have the time, LAU can really benefit from tutorials like that. Great work!

You also had a very professional tone, as noted by falktx too :D

JACK Timemachine, go back in time and record

I wrote a little article on using JACK Timemachine, a neat little application that can record what happened _before_ you pressed the record button. You can find the article at: http://www.zthmusic.com/jack-timemachine/

Cheers!

Thanks Thad! Lets hope you like this weeks too. Here we talk to male, the author of the Non DAW/Non tools/Non applications. We talk about Non, himself, and his recently released album (which I'm sure you've seen in the news section here). http://www.zthmusic.com/male/ Thanks to male for the interview!

Re: Doing a workshop for kids on making music using FLOSS

Thanks for the comment tnovelli! I spoke to falkTX and the impression I got was that it won't be an issue to modify and then clone the USB's. But I'll have to cross that bridge when I get to it.
