Bumping this on release day to see if anyone has tried the new Ubuntu Studio 19.04? I'm mostly curious about Ubuntu Studio Controls (the reason for this thread, which somehow escaped me before). It looks like a nice user-friendly alternative to Cadence or QjackCtl. I'm not looking to hop at the mome...

50 years of playing together! All of a sudden I don't feel so old. Why do I have the feeling this didn't take too long to track and the mixing was pretty painless as well?

On top of all that it also has a 130 page illustrated User Manual full of detailed information on installing, setting up your system and getting started with Ardour. Even if you don't end up using AV, print and read the manual. It's one of (or maybe THE) best primers for getting started + learning ...

None of this should work, but somehow it all fits together and creates something beautiful. Well done!
