Re: Compiling MuseScore

Wait, before you do any of that, are you sure you did this (from the MuseScore compile instructions)? echo "PATH=~/Qt5.3.2/5.3.2/gcc/bin:$PATH" >> ~/.bashrc source ~/.bashrc I should type that in the terminal, right? I tried installing it from the ppa you suggested, but it wouldn't find t...

Re: Compiling MuseScore

It's /home/sash/Qt5.4.0/5.4/gcc/include/QtQuickWidgets/QQuickWidget

Maybe it's a broken file or something? In it there's only this

Code: Select all

#include "qquickwidget.h"

Re: Compiling MuseScore

With the line 159 it won't. Do you have the same line in your MuseScore directory all.h file?

Re: Compiling MuseScore

Oh well, in my country there is a saying "first jump, and then say hop". That's what I didn't do this time. In a hurry I thought I figured it out, without trying, but that's not the case. Now here's what I got; In the path MuseScore/all.h, line 159 says #include <QQuickWidget> . While &quo...

Re: I can't install Cadence and Jackd

It comes to this:

Code: Select all

jackd2:
Depends: libjack-jackd2-0 (=1:1.9.10-1~precise1) but 6:1.9.9.5-1+kxstudio1~precise1 is to be installed
Recommends: qjackctl but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: jackd2-firewire but it is not going to be installed

Re: Carla won't open in Ardour, Ubuntu 12.04

OK! Slightly off topic, in the meantime I installed xfce desktop to see if it is Unity that causes the problem and holly shit, what I was missing all this time! After I customized it a bit, I prefer it to Unity by far, and it is much more stable. So I figured, is there a way to uninstall the unity w...

Same, it loads in the track, but it just won't open. It's Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit now, just to remind you.
