Re: Problem with repositories in Debian Wheezy
Of course! I guess I formulated the question in a wrong way, it's not that the repos themselves have some problem, but that I was having problems within the Debian desktop. Anyway, just wanted to try the much praised Debian, well, not my cup of tea. It was hard for me to read even, I mean the bright...

Problem with repositories in Debian Wheezy
Falk, I decided to try Debian for a change, and I followed the instructions from your site to add the repositories. I typed apt-get update in the terminal, in synaptic they are listed, but yet I can't find nor cadence, nor carla or anything else from your repos. Please help! Also, if someone would b...

Re: Rakarrack LV2 Plugins
Ok, I thought you were saying you didn't care about the individual plugins being ported. I'm glad you clarified. Oh no, I didn't have a slightest intention to minimize your work, I'm sorry if it sounded that way. Actually, I appreciate very much what everybody of the devs in the Linux community is ...

Re: Rakarrack LV2 Plugins
I don't see how this would be much different from how it already is. It would be more handy to port all the individual effects to lv2s as ssj71 is doing now and then port the presets to a more modern container like carla-rack or guitarix (assuming guitarix can do that) I'm not saying ssj71 isn't do...

Re: Rakarrack LV2 Plugins
Well,,,uhm...how about whole Rakarrack as a lv2 plugin I guess you mean it as a joke? :| Well regardless, autopan is done. In my country there is a saying "In every joke there is a half truth", so... :) Actually it would be great to have Rakarrack as a lv2 plugin with all the presets. It ...

Re: QSampler doesn't load files
Solved!
I opened up terminal, sudo nautilus, then searched and deleted everything named linuxsampler after uninstalling it, then re-install again, and now it's working like it's supposed to.

Re: QSampler doesn't load files
What is the path of that file? I'm having the same problem. EDIT: If it's usr/share/cadence/templates/Qsampler.lscp, it doesn't solve the problem for me. I tried loading sfz in Ardour with linuxsampler plugin, it works OK, but as a standalone it fails. Here is the message: 15:21:33.384 Client connec...

Help with JACKD
Well, I've set it up perfect, and then I installed Jack Rack, and I saw it with a glimpse of my eye that is going to uninstall something and to install something else, and now Jack isn't running properly. I uninstalled Jack Rack, reinstalled jack, but same thing, I cannot start it. This is the messa...

Re: Carla 2, 32bit plugin, 64bit OS
OK, so I decided to go pure Linux and deleted the Win vst's, but Carla still shows them in the list. I refreshed, I reinstalled Carla, but they are still there. How do I reset the list?

Re: Carla 2, 32bit plugin, 64bit OS
Well, patcbay loads it fine, but I can't make jamstix to "jam". There's got to be some way, but I just don't know how.

Re: Carla 2, 32bit plugin, 64bit OS
When you run Carla in standalone mode and the engine driver is set to JACK, it will use the JACK transport. If you enable JACK transport in Ardour, Carla will get in sync (and thus the loaded plugins too). I was just going to type that I figured it out, but thanks, I'll try you the Carla patchbay n...

Re: Carla 2, 32bit plugin, 64bit OS
Oh nevermind that, I installed the 64 bit demo, it has 30 minutes limitation until I have to restart, which is fine. I have another question for you though, so I'll use this thread if you don't mind. First I have to say that I really like the new Carla concept, compliments on the design. I even deci...

Re: Carla 2, 32bit plugin, 64bit OS
It doesn't happen. I did the same thing you explained before, and I did it now again, but it's not there. Well, the reason I'm using this one is because it's the from the times when it was free, and I kept it.

Carla 2, 32bit plugin, 64bit OS
Helo falkTX! According to this passage on your site, I can run a 32bit plugin on a 64bit machine. Plugin Bridges Running plugins in a separate process for crash-protection. Using a separate process also makes it possible to load plugins with a different architecture from the host, such as 32-bit plu...
