can you post the output of these commands please: file /usr/local/bin/renoise /usr/local/bin/renoise: symbolic link to `/usr/local/bin/renoise-2.7.2' ldd /usr/local/bin/renoise not a dynamic executable no ideas about the macbook... the ubuntuforums would be probably a better place for that question...

KX studio - manual installed renoise full+sunvox noGo
so i put kx studio over ubuntu 10.04 x64 on a macpro today. lovely. I chose the low latency kx kernel. I'm currently just logged into the non-low latency kernel so i can use the wifi driver :idea: anyway... just downloaded and installed renoise full, unpack and sudo ./install.sh'd it. but renoise do...

let me guess... the low latency and realtime KXStudio kernels blacklist any wireless drivers ... makes sense but is this called out anywhere? I'd recommend this be made a bit more obvious to keep many people from chasing down a rabbit hole.

I installed KX on top of ubuntu studio 10.04 a month or so back - love it but haven't spent as much time in it as i'd like as I never was able to resolve the fact that I could never connect to any wifi networks (tried the default network manager and the Wicd network manager) anyway... instead of tro...
