Re: Donations problem
I'm not sure why but it may be related to your account somehow. I can send this money to my brother without any hassle.

Re: Donations problem
This is really strange, I remember sending money to other people without credit card, notably I paid for VPN this way. I read in the help section that I can choose form of the payment but it's not there... I'm going to investigate it a bit more...

Re: Donations problem
Well, I don't know if it is working or not, because it requires me to attach a credit card to this transfer, which is weird because I even tried direct transfer to you (not via donate button) and it asked me for a credit card too.

Re: 44100 or 88200 rate?
That's impossible. Besides, vinyl is an inferior medium. Care to elaborate?? There are turntables above $10.000, more than your highest end intel/amd proc and highest end graphics card combined together. How do you eplain that now? LOLOLOLOLOL There are also very expensive "audiophile" ca...

Re: Arch pro-audio
Lol, I found a "bug". Somehow default Windows version in winecfg changed to Windows 98. Mod, please delete my last three posts to keep this thread clean. Also, FalkTX thanks for your time.

Re: Arch pro-audio
Todays update (or rather "the one I did today"). But on the second thought it may be that I upgraded Reaktor to newer version, so sorry for confusion. I thought it may be related to L_ProAudio. Sorry for confusion... anyway, would be great to fix this
Maybe in another thread though.

Re: Arch pro-audio
FalkTX, after patching wine I have problem with Reaktor 5. It tells me it needs processor with SSE2 support. It worked before the update so something is broken now... To clarify... Thanks for the clarification. I tend to get excited when stuff which is important to me gets done or close to done, tha...

Re: Audio stream (mp3,vids) to midi notation??
Best way would be to use your ears. The other way would be to use pitch recognition software. Some time ago I wrote simple matlab script for this task (very basic), results were kind of crude and this worked only for simple sound files (4 voice choir in particular). I don't know if there is floss so...

Re: Sound in SPACE audible??
It would probably stop because of the tension within the string. At least that's what I think. It's not the air that stops the string, eventually.Capoeira wrote:also a string wouldn't stop to vibrate unless you force it to. (or am I thinking wrong?)

Re: Arch pro-audio
This looks neat; especially the fact that NI stuff runs flawlessly with Muse Receptor yet not on my Ubuntu system. I will definitely check this out when my BSc thesis is done and I will have more spare time again...
