Re: n-Track studio 1.1

Ntrack irritates me. I used it for years on windows from 2002 to 2008 and I have it on my phone. But the developer l, who states he started coding on linux, won't port to linux. Very annoying.

Re: Recording with guitar/mic PC, preamp, DI box?

A di box works well for instruments with a hum. But there are passive amd active di boxes. So get the one you need. I use one that is passive for one of my keyboards.

Re: Rpi3 hydrogen

That's neat. Thanks for sharing. I like the idea of a synth/music linux appliance. I'd like to get something like that setup using either a laptop, tablet or maybe a pi3 is a good solution. Was it much work to setup? Did you have to compile stuff? Are you using whatever it has for stock audio hardw...

Rpi3 hydrogen

Rpi3 as a hydrogen beat machine. Works great. I had a dedicated laptop for this but the pi has replaced it. This is a touchscreen setup. Using portaudio and alsa midi. It runs on battery. 8x 18650 > 5v 2.1a

Re: Happy Birthday Linux

Why do people call it "Linux operating system"? None of us did. Please stop this, it's getting silly. Linux is nothing without GNU. It's funny how this applies both forwards and backwards. Not really. Gnu runs on proprietary kernels too. In fact all gnu used to until linux. So gnu/linux i...
