For some reason it's listing the latest release as being the previous release. But if you go to files the newest release is there.

Well looks like icecast and shoutcast are options. But honestly it was an idea but I dont know of an easy way to accomplish it. My ubuntu studio 16.04, accourding to documentation, has alsa-lib 1.1.0-0ubuntu1 and alsa-plugins 1.1.0-0ubuntu1

16.10 has
Alsa-plugins 1.1.1-1ubuntu1
And
