What are your JACK settings? And maybe increase your timeout setting in JACK a bit. Default is 500, try setting it to 1000 or 2000. The Timeout setting was indeed set to 500. I finally got the fa-101 to work. Its working well and I am pleased. I'm not sure exactly what I did but after a reboot things worked. It's to bad about the usb problem but I can still take the ua-101 back so not big deal(although they were going to give it to me cheap) Thanks to all that helped me ...
