Re: Raspberry Pi - Current Status?

Just out of curiosity, would a Behringer UCA202 USB audio interface + DI, or something similar like the UCG102, be capable of low latency audio on a Rasp-Pi? Because if yes, these are pretty cheap and reasonably usable quality audio interfaces. Yes you can achieve lower latencies with those devices...

Re: Raspberry Pi - Current Status?

Hello Chris, I'm a guitarist and music producer, and I've also worked in computer programming. I'm currently developing some real-time guitar effects using Csound. I notice that there have been some attempts to use the Raspberry Pi for real-time effects processing and thought that it might be a good...

Hello Maister,

Welcome! And yes, more synth plugins are always welcome! Do you have any sound samples? And could you explain a bit more what the synth is capable of?

Re: [ANN] Infamous Power Cut

I've uploaded Debian/Ubuntu packages to the kxstudio-debian Testing repository: https://launchpad.net/~kxstudio-debian/+archive/ubuntu/testing/+files/infamous-plugins_0.0.10%2Bgit7949af-1kxstudio1_amd64.deb Haven't checked out all the plugins yet but the PowerCut is really cool. So thanks for this s...

Re: Qtractor: automate a plugin in master out

Create bus Master-Mix (or a similar name) Create track Master-Mix with input bus Master-Mix and output bus Master Stick PowerCut into that Master-Mix track and automate it Create separate buses for each audio track you want to route to the Master-Mix track and set them as the output buses for those...

Re: Nekobi glide/slide notes?

I assume you want it to sound like this? http://www.theinfiniterepeat.com/music/the_infinite_repeat-cala_del_aceite.ogg The bassline is made with Nekobi. I've used seq24 to sequence the notes and achieved the glides simply by having notes overlap each other. It's really weird that you hear the attac...

Re: Nekobi glide/slide notes?

Is it possible to glide/slide notes in Nekobi? If i want to glide notes on my xoxbox, i let notes overlap each other in a daw, but these doesn't seem to work so maybe there another possibility? That should work as Nekobi does portamento by default assuming that's what you mean by glide/slide. Which...

Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)

There is still no proper drum instrument as LV2. I'd like to use drmr but it forgets the used drumkit and so it bugs me. This would be nice to have: http://ll-plugins.nongnu.org/lv2/rudolf556.html rudolf556 is part of ll-lplugins which are in the main KX Studio Team repository. There's also DrumSyn...

On the right bottom halve. It's true that it doesn't seem to be there in the LV2 GUI but I wouldn't be surprised if mouse clicking anywhere in the LV2 GUI would function as tap tempo. That's just an assumption though.

Re: Does M-Track Quad have a working module in linux?

The M-Track seems to work but I can't find any references to people who got the M-Track Quad working with Linux. Actually I found one single reference to someone who tried it but couldn't get it to work.

Re: JLSampler: A new open-source sampler for Linux

And yes, Linuxsampler is out of the question anyway because it is proprietary. is it really? LinuxSampler is licensed under the GNU GPL with the exception that USAGE of the source code, libraries and applications FOR COMMERCIAL HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE PRODUCTS IS NOT ALLOWED without prior written perm...

Re: Introducing JackAss

Thanks falkTX for this. Now it's also possible to route MIDI that was generated within a Qtractor MIDI track out of Qtractor. Normally this isn't possible. The fact that it's JACK-MIDI is an extra bonus :) Now I can use the QMidiArp plugins with my Volca Keys. Thanks again!
