Rated Blue - Joy

Hi, I've been away for a while and have a lot of catching up to do with many of the new music postings here.. This will be the title track for our next album, I had posted some early solo demos of this song a few years ago but it is now finished and much better represented as a full band reco...

Re: Black Pearl / Red Zeppelin Midi Channel Question

Hi,

There is a plugin built into Carla called "MIDI Split" that should do what you want.

Re: Song for Evelyn

Thanks, GMaq. I have yet to play this song at the cemetery. But I think that day is coming. I really like the AVL Drumkit LV2. Great sound, and so easy to use! I think my workflow is changed forever. Thanks for making all of those drum samples. My only complaint about it is actually an Ardour MIDI ...

Re: Extending drumkits

Hi,

A quick note... If you want any of the AVL Drumkit tambourine (or other) samples for customizing an existing DG Kit the WAV samples are all available by simply unzipping the SFZ versions found here: http://www.bandshed.net/sounds/sfz/AVL_ ... .1-fix.zip

Excellent work!! The "chuffy" Drums and the grinding bass tone had me at hello! Terrific production and mixing and I'm this excited without understanding a word of the story...lol

Great work, you continue to move upward with every release..

Just awesome.

Re: The Incontinentals - "Brandy"

Not my music, but that's very well done and I like the down to earth feeling of that song. I immediately feel like I'm sitting somewhere in the States in a bar and having a bear or two (or three and then looking urgently for the next toilette) btw: Is this your studio?? Hi lilith, Thanks ...

Re: The Incontinentals - "Brandy"

@ufug Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Yeah, I think they laid down a bed track in 2 takes! I agree about not feeling so old..., I've been with my band for almost 30 years and these guys very much inspire me that there's some fire in these bones yet! And yes, the band name is indicative o...

Re: The Incontinentals - "Brandy"

Hi milo! The Audio and Video sessions were at different times so indeed the Vocals were tracked separately in the backing track, the Video is essentially staged to appear like the original recording session was filmed. In these days and times of newsfeed-based consumption it seems having a YouTube v...

The Incontinentals - "Brandy"

Hi, In the process of doing some paid work for some good friends who have been doing music for 50+ years. A fun and funny group of guys and terrific musicians and vocalists. Here's a video I just finished of one of their fave cover songs that they also nail live... "Brandy" (originally by ...

Re: Soledad #3

Hi Dave! Very cool, would make a killer soundtrack piece. I love the little bit of belly-button lint hanging around the bass, very nicely organic! I also like how the bass gets some quasi cello tones at certain pitches. The slow evolution of the repeats are really hypnotic as well. Thanks for sharing!
