LMMS is not so good with JACK... as for Qtractor - I did not know it has automation.AutoStatic wrote:You can assign any MIDI CC to any knob or slider and with QTractor or LMMS you could automate the values. Check the end of my MIDI/PHASEX tutorial on YouTube. Or do you mean something else?

Re: Are you visiting LAC 2010?
I wrote them but I doubt it. Yes, we asked for it rather late but there was nothing we could do. My wife was waiting for her international passport and it was ready last week. Instantly we applied. But it turns out it was late. We lost quite some money on tickets too which were already booked and pa...

Re: Are you visiting LAC 2010?
Hey guys! Very bad news from me - I failed to receive visa in time. Tomorrow embassy of Netherlands is not working since it has national holiday. We could've gotten our visas today, but they did not make it. The embassy said they will issue our visas only 6-7th of May. Not only I am saddened by the ...

Re: A small article about tools for electronic musicians
Great, how can I say no )
I read those articles, some nice stuff. One thing I wonder about - the author of an article about Phasex said he fed midi messages into it, values 0 to 127. How do you do that? I always wondered if I can just automate parameters of such soft synths on Linux.

Re: jack_mixer
btw, I did try out jm2cv, but this sucks. I mean, in order to have it work I need to input the id of my knobs into a file - right. I can see that during a live performance already. I am usually very understanding and can see the problems behind what developers do, but non-daw/non-mixer guys, while h...

Re: modular début: Sunset
Most of it is LFO, some automation is just volume automation (the fade in, fade out functionality in Qtractor).

Installed jack_mixer (http://home.gna.org/jackmixer/), all fine but when I change volume with a midi controller knob, I get clicks. If I change volume by moving the slider with a mouse - it is alright.
