Re: Theme

The problem with the current Theme is not the theme itself. It is branding.
This is just the default Theme, except the Logo. Every other phpBB on the web looks like this.

So I find a change necessary just to get a bit more unique.

Re: PyDAW progress

You may be right. Contrary to all his ranting against JACK (see his wiki) pydaw might still rely on JACK. http://pydaw.org/wiki/index.php?title=Hardware_Guide I do not recommend Firewire, PyDAW will be going to a pure-ALSA back-end soon, which means that Firewire won't work until the FFADO devs fini...

no JACK client shows up, no sound output happens.
Not that it matters even a bit, but AFAIK pydaw is alsa only because JACK is "the shit" or so.

So from the samples in this thread you have made these three yourself, right? You recorded the samples and wrote the sfz file. I will host all with a clear and good license (allow-everything with or without copyleft) on linuxaudio.org

So, jeff, if you forgot to mention a license detail, please add it now.

Re: My Top 3 questions about the LM forums

While we're at it, I think the 'Android' subforum should be either dropped or its scope should be broadened. Any suggestions? Android is a Linux Distribution. Delete it as a subforum, move the 12 threads to the Distribution forum and include a small notice in the forum description that this include...

Re: PyDAW progress

There is a small, inexpensive piece of Windows software I have used for the better part of the past 10 years. It is called Noteworthy, and is the easiest and best composition software I have used or tested. Note insertion, key designation, and so many other functions are so very easy. Select a valu...

Re: Move KXStudio to ArchLinux?

I am already using Archlinux for audio. One of the better decisions of my life. There is already an active pro-audio archlinux community so KXStudio would be a welcome force since achievements on both sides can be shared. If falk becomes a trusted user in Arch he can even use the main repository for...
