Upsampling and need to keep internal wave file markers
Hi Guys, I have a sample set of organ pipe sounds that are 16-bit 44.1khz and I need to upsample them to 16-bit 48khz. Simple upsampling with sox or libsamplerate doesn't work as a new file is created with the new rate and the loop and release markers are not copied across. Does anyone know of a lin...

Re: Question regarding Qmidiroute
Thanks Becks,
That is excellent news
Now I can add qmidiroute to my Virtual Pipe Organ project and use a linux native mapper instead of using Midi-Ox through WINE.
Thanks!

Question regarding Qmidiroute
Hi, I would like to use Qmidiroute to map cc1 and program change events. So I have set the mapping up, got it working, and saved the Map. I now can't find a way to load Qmidiroute with the saved map from the command line. I need to be able to load midi mapping automatically via script as it is part ...

Re: organ sounds
Hi There is a good tutorial on using LinuxSampler with some freely available GIG samples of Theater Pipe Organ Ranks. The tutorial is for Puppy Linux and Ubuntu Studio users, but users of most other distros should be able to work out what they need to do too. Go to http://organs.110mb.com/PuppyLinux...

Re: Jconv
There is a nice Jconv 'how to' for Puppy Linux and Ubuntu at the South African Virtual Pipe Organ site: http://organs.110mb.com/jconv.htm. It has install packages for both distributions. Makes life a little easier than compiling
