Non-Daw: Non-Timeline -> looping

I'm always scratching my head to get this done, so at least the answer is on linuxmusicians.com now ;) As described in the manual 1.1.10.1.8. Loop: Instead of requiring you to duplicate a small region 100 times to achieve a looping effect, Non Timeline supports looping directly. First, adjust the re...

NSM API (session management)

Non-session-manager: https://non.tuxfamily.org/wiki/Non%20Session%20Manager NSM API http://non.tuxfamily.org/nsm/API.html Small note about :switch: from the original developer of NSM: "It should be noted that in most cases adding NSM support is super easy (for just load/save, no switch). Some applic...

Re: Ann: Radium 1.9.37

I downloaded RADIUM on the weekend and played a bit with it. I looks quite unusual and interesting. Does anybody is using it regularly? Indeed very interesting music composing application. Can be a bit overwhelming at start, but once you know how to enable/disable some windows views, it's already g...

I saw you found the right place and mentioned the fact that it's a fork. Fair enough.

Re: SuperBoucle new release!

Congrats with the release! This might be a better location: https://linuxmusicians.com/viewforum.php?f=24 For restoring JACK connections and settings when using multiple applications, you could consider adding NSM support, Carla (and many other applications) has NSM support too, https://non.tuxfamil...

Re: run All of Guitarix as a plugin?

? I really like the Guitarix interface and presets but wiring it up is such a pain. Wiring it up is dead simple and when you do it yourself, you know what you're doing. No magic in the background. it becomes tedious when you've to do it again and again. The Non-Session-Manager with jackpatch is sol...

Re: LV2 on HYDROGEN

When you use the Non-Session-Manager (NSM), you can run 'jackpatch' in NSM, which restores the JACK connections for you. You need to build hydrogen with NSM support (experimental), see my previous message, https://github.com/hydrogen-music/hydrogen/pull/792#issuecomment-590516000 or use 'nsm-proxy' ...

Re: LV2 on HYDROGEN

it's probably possible to route Hydrogen to Non-Mixer (kxstudio, Arch has LV2 support) or to Carla via JACK. Yes, I agree it would be nice if Hydrogen would have NSM support ;) just like Non-Mixer and Carla, seems to be work in progress. it's not finished yet, but it's possible to build it I think a...

Re: Hydrogen/SooperLooper hybrid

NSM support in Sooperlooper would be a start. If anyone is interested to add this, would be great, let me know!

For adding reverb you could take a look at non-mixer. You can add it to your session.

In future, Ableton Link might be interesting for these kind of setups.

Re: [LAA] Guitarix2 release version 0.39.0

Nope, that's a feature to make the Carla bridge to LV2 experience more smooth with guitarix. It's part of the integration in the overall ecosystem of linux audio. I really doubt if this will make the Linuxaudio ecosystem any stronger actually. Running JACK applications in a plugin host and then exp...

Re: [LAA] Guitarix2 release version 0.39.0

?? - add new option -E --hideonquit, to make the UI experience smooth when used as LV2 plugin (via Carla export) by Hermann Meyer This is a 'hack' to get Guitarix running as LV2 plugin right? We don't plan to provide the full guitarix app as LV2 plugin, currently not. To use the full guitarix stack...

Re: [LAA] Guitarix2 release version 0.39.0

for the LV2 plugs in the pipe.
is that the 'carla-hack' to get JACK Applications running as LV2 plugin? Or is that native LV2?
