Re: LMMS 0.4.1

suinonatante thanx... will try that but I experimented again and installed ubuntu without an rt kernel and it works with alsa. So all my other distros before were using only rt kernels.
I guess this app runs only on vanilla kernels but I will try the irc.

I'...

Re: LMMS 0.4.1

yeah, that's what I mean. That's where I asked for help. No one has complain about this at that site but a search on the net, I find that I'm not the only one. studio, you were part of a thread on here with me about this issue. Did you get it working? I love the app on XP.

Re: LMMS 0.4.1

4.0 works great on windows. in fact the past few versions works great on windows but a hell ride on linux for me. I've tried different distros and computers and the same thing. I get a popping sound using alsa, 4.0 couldn't use alsa or jackd so OSS but still a major static popping sound. I will try ...

Re: Don't use JACK 0.109.X !

more stable for me here. I don't use Ubuntu for audio so not too sure. Very easy build for my as I use Arch and all I have to do is change the version# in the PKGBUILD and run the build/install script.
