Could you give a link to that article please? so that's why I posted it in the how-to also. That same dude said when he ...

Re: programming; coding a/your audio tool

I emailed him when he didn't answer me on guitarmodelling and this was his answer:

I can't be open source for now, really sorry.
And I'll learn how to port them to Linux.

Thanks,

hopefully brummer's guitarix will do the trick.

Re: programming; coding a/your audio tool

what about something like Amplitube, GR or ReValver, can you make something like that for Linux?
here are some great sounding amp/cab sims that use impulse responses files. they are vsts.:

these sound as good as the commercial ones.

Re: ReValver MKIII Native Linux Possiblity

cb951303, I know what you mean. I've tried all the others like CAPS, etc. and they are great especially for bluesy or Rolling Stones kinda stuff but no, not close to Amplitube, etc. I've read where guys have ReValver running on Linux via wine. I had Amplitube and GuitarRig running on Linux a year ag...

Re: guitar amp/cab sims with impulse response loading

hey brummer, I got dssi_convolve working on Rosegarden. Maybe you can add dssi support to guitarix so it can load impulse response files with dssi_convolve.
