Wow, that was easy. Built correct kernel audio module per your advice, and now driver shows installed, and is seen by alsamixer.
Then installed latestflatpak: alsa-scarlett-gui_0.4.0.flatpak

Appears everything is working now..

Hi, I received a Focusroite Scarlett 4i4 4th gen, and am running Ubuntu Linux 22.04 with kernel: 6.5.0-35-generic. The device is picked up at low level, see it in dmesg and USB configation. But when I installed Alsa control panel, it says: "sorry, I dont recognize the controls on this card"...
