Many thanks. I tried starting and stopping jack transport and managed to kill the session. This is normal: I am an expert in destroying jackd.

The 'host sync' parameter works faultlessly.

I am getting the same thing, although I cannot find out where the log files are to confirm the 'transport out of bounds' report. It's a shame that the original successful advice has disappeared from the thread.
