Re: Composing in Ardour Part 4 (It's been a while)

Such undiluted energy! Straight into the ear and the feet. This is fun. Great guitar work and production sound! Fantastic use of the vocaloids. :) I like the more unpitched shouting the best. What did you use for drums? And how about your guitars? Did you use in-the-box processing or external amp/f...

Re: Composing in Ardour Part 4 (It's been a while)

So intense, wonderful! I like that it is mostly instrumental, it really suits the song! Great work, thanks for sharing! Thank you, oscillator. Sorry for the late reply. Thank you very much. I'm very happy to hear from you. This piece is a remake, but the recording equipment is the same as before, b...

Rainmak3r, it has been a while. Sorry for the late reply.

I like this kind of guitar sound and sometimes I want to make it (lol).
Thank you :D

Thank you, Basslint. Sorry for the late reply.

Glad to hear from you. Thank you very much. :D
This song was a remake, but I think I did a pretty good job. I'd like to make another intense one like this. :D

Thanks digitsun. Sorry for the late reply.
You're right, I may be pulling the cymbals too fast. :o

Ardour&VOCALOID

https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm40840683 Hi there. It's been a while. :) I haven't been able to reply because I got busy with work right after my last post. I will reply again as needed. The VOCALOID song I made this time is Kagamine Len, and it is a funk rock song with an odd time signature. I did...

Composing in Ardour Part 4 (It's been a while)

https://youtu.be/vWbaXJSjMk8

It has been a long time since I have posted.

This is a hard rock song I made with the image of two Kagamine.
I used tape echo for the two leads and tape for mastering.

Re: hmm

I had to go back to Windows for a reason. I'll probably pop into the Ardour community from time to time, but I don't think I'll be posting here anymore. (I'm not quitting Linux because I was denied a song before! just for the record.) Thanks everyone for the short time I've been here. It's been fun!...

Re: With Ardour and VOCALOID - Part 2 -

@Hiroki Futami I am a fan of Japanese music. I'm no expert by any means but I've listened to a lot of stuff: J-pop, J-Rock, City pop, VGM, Enka and many composers (like Keiko Matsui, Ryuchi Sakamoto, Joe Hisaishi, Kitaro, etc.). So I get where you are coming from and let me tell you that I think yo...

Re: With Ardour and VOCALOID - Part 2 -

Solid track! The mixing is definitely better than your last post, although the songs are so different that it's like comparing apples and oranges. I especially like the guitar work, and props to you for making your own tape delay! So you have found x42-plugins! My favorites as well. I've been reall...

Did you remove the link? Limited time offer, I guess? Please repost the track, even if you want to remix or remaster it first. And don't let anyone's negative feedback stop you from making or sharing your music. I, for one, think your music is worth hearing. I agree with the good @milo. This forum ...

Re: I remixed a song I created in Windows with Ardour.

I really like the song itself. But the drum sound doesn't appeal to me, especially the snare. The entire drumkit is too "techno-synthetic". I'd like to hear it with a more natural, acoustic kit. Thank you for listening. The snare is too synthetic, I see. I thought it would be better if it...
