a simple solution that comes to mind is editing MIDI in Qtractor and then importing the MIDI tracks in Ardour.

I liked it.
It's also a good showcase of different genres made with this technique.
I wonder how much effort it requires to achieve that.

Hi Zikmaf , your problem is not clear to me. Are you not getting any sound with JACK and ALSA? Can you post a screenshot of your soundcard preferences in Mixxx? You can also use Mixxx with Pulseaudio (not great performance, but if you don't need low latency ... ), just launch Mixxx from terminal and...

We are talking about every soundcard with audio inputs. Obviously you need the right cables to connect your keyboard to your soundcard.
I doubt there are many laptops with a audio input except the microphone one.
