Re: New album "Fiesta Red"

Hey hey, I have to confess that this is not a genre of music I can relate to on an emotional level. I did want to chime in, however, because your production on this album sounds extremely good. It's all very polished. At the same time very classic and modern, though that's perhaps because the classi...

I wanna

Hey hey, here's my contribution to summer. After Lemn8's relaxed "sun and surf" feeling, I think it's time for party: https://youtu.be/5pIp1bL7_L8 Celebrating my new microphone and I should still work harder or get a little more autotalent involved. :) Still, there's an improvement. :) Lyr...

Hm, nice summer feeling. It's so relaxed, but not too lazy, after asll one likes to go bathing too. :)

Re: What's the News in the City

Nice song, very 80s. The arrangement is very elaborate. I enjoyed the development of the arrangement. The second bass drum is a little too bright. It makes a nice contrast, though a touch less will work just as well.

Re: Nagarjuna

I like this! Very nice sounds and lovely dark arrangement. Quite raw too. I'd be interested in the full list of instruments used, both hard- and software. I guseed the RD-9, well that one's easy. The rest isn't. :)
Again: great song, great sounds!

Re: Hermann's mill (soundtrack/game music)

... I must admit I was surprised to hear, at 2:54, what sounds like the "Carol of the bells" (which brought back memories of Home Alone and Christmas movies  ), was this an intentional homage or accidental? ... Hey hey @Rainmak3r , thanks for the lovely feedback! I'm glad the son...

Commandline host/app for synthesizer V voices?

Hey hey, I have heard a few example of virtual vocalists from the Synthesizer V environment and it's tempting to have a go. Is there a commandline host or another way to run them completely in the commandline? For the time being my GUI seems completely wracked (Pulse issues) and I don't have the kno...

Re: Hermann's mill (soundtrack/game music)

Hi @oscillator , thanks a lot! Have you ever listened to "Music with changing parts"? Who knows: if not, you might like it. Considering that I listened to it one evening for 20 minutes, where my usual attention span for minimal is less than three minutes, that says something. I must look u...

Re: the Four Horsemen Are Coming , New-age style

Wow! This is great! Fantastic arrangement. You've got a nice touch with Yoshimi there. And the voice sounds VERY good. These voices do improve imensely! Makes me almost jealous. :)

Hermann's mill (soundtrack/game music)

Hey hey, here's Hermann's mill: https://youtu.be/1-HH60SABUk It's originally inspired by Philip Glass' "Music with changing parts". I never really got minimal music and so I always waited for the drop. Consequently, I set out to capture the feeling of the intro from the Glass piece and the...

Re: The Beach (bonus track)

What a good bonus track. Pity that you only sold one copy, but that's how it is. Too much music and not enough money going around. :(
The track is very lovely. I enjoyed the string passage a lot.

Re: more fun

Ha! Bitterest enemies - not only of the programmers, but also - the musicians: that dreadful sun and the fiendish racket of those bloody birds. :) As an aside: I recently got a few lovely recordings of our morning chorus, when I ventured forth some time after four. Hm? I probably ventured fourth the...

Re: more fun

Sweet and to the point! did you sing yourself or were the vocals sampled. I assume that there is quite a bit of sampling going on here, not least the birds. :) Pawk! Pawk! Pawk! Speels: greetings from the angry chicken. :)

Re: Black Sheep Riot - "Ready To Blow" (Punk Rock) - Lyric video

Hey @Nachei , what can I say? This is very much punk. I mean that in the best way possible. You brought on the raw energy and the devil-may-care attitude. The beat sometimes sounds a little humpa, which is fun. :)
